Welcome to The Lowther Legacy Library, a website created for our children, grandchildren, and those interested in our literary works. Our Dad, George Lowther, wrote and directed the original Superman Radio program and novel in the early 1940s. He was the first Page Boy at NBC at the age of 13 and the number one children’s author in the 1940s. A writer, producer, and actor, his credits are those of a who’s who in radio and television.

My brother, Kevin George Lowther, was a Peace Corps volunteer, journalist, director with Africare, and the author of two books, “Keeping Kennedy’s Promise,” and “The African American Odyssey of John Kizell – a historical recounting of an enslaved person coming to America during the revolutionary war who returned to his native home in Sierra Leone, Africa, literate and politically connected.

And I, Sean George Lowther, the younger brother who has worked internationally and nationally in the corporate world, founder of Marci Jewelry, and Stealth Awareness, Inc., a legal services company, and former Board Chair for the Lupus Foundation of America’s North Carolina Chapter; author of “Holding the Moon in the Palm of Your Hand,” and “Caregivers Wear Plaid.”
