Welcome to The Lowther Legacy Library, a website created for our children, grandchildren, and those interested in our literary works. Our Dad, George Lowther, wrote and directed the original Superman Radio program and novel in the early 1940s. He was the first Page Boy at NBC at the age of 13 and the number one children’s author in the 1940s in print, radio and television. A writer, producer, and actor, his credits are those of a who’s who in radio and television.

My brother, Kevin George Lowther, in the middle, and I, Sean George Lowther, above to the right, have both enjoyed wonderful careers and continue to do so in our semi-retirement years, writing and keeping ourselves busy. Our published books are shown below, “On the Bookshelf.”

Every Library offers its patrons “Story Time” events, and we are no exception. “Story Time” is produced and housed on YouTube. Subscribers to the channel will be notified when new sessions are added. Our first “Story Time,” which will add a new section soon (Strive 2 Survive 2 Thrive), is Caregivers Wear Plaid, where you will discover what “Plaid” is and why it is important! You can link to each session in the “Story Time” tab on this website.
